Fall is around the corner, my favorite time of the year.
Love to indulge myself with apple, cinnamon, and other autumn goodies but , like this recipe, you can do it and keep yourself on tracks.
Unsweetened Hot Apple Cider (makes 11 cups)
8 cups cloudy/unfiltered apple juice
3 cups good quality orange juice
2 tsp ground allspice
1. Pour both juices into a large pot.
2. Add the allspice and stir (don’t panic when the allspice appears to just rest on the surface!)
3. Cover, put over medium heat and allow to simmer (not boil) for a while, stirring occasionally. (How long you heat it for depends on whether you forget about it or not – like I tend to do!! I often let it simmer for an hour or so.)
4. Turn off the heat and allow to steep (covered) for a wee while longer.

I know it’s been an awful long time since I posted anything here.

I have been very busy with this new job, Summer with my son at home, and many other things.

Things have finally slowed down enough to allow me time to take care of this Tumblr again and of myself that I’ve also neglected a bit…

Happy to be back…

Back on tracks…

I fell off the wagon…badly…

Since this spring with the passing of my dad, a new job, my son at home for the summer: STRESS has been my companion.

No time for yoga, running all day, trying to keep with eating healthy but not always time to cook…

I had to explode . literally.

After this major “incident”, the organization at home is wayyyy better, I’m more relax and ready to go back exercising.

Hubby and I were able to squeeze 2 days to go to the beach next week and I cannot wait to enjoy these short but much needed vacations.

Yoga, healthy food, me-time, meditation: here I come!!!!!
